The Municipality of Strovolos in collaboration with the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB), the Cyprus Circular Economy Network and CSR Cyprus have organized the Seminar “Circular Cities and Communities” which was successfully held on the 13th of December 2021 at Strovolos Cultural Centre.
The Mayor of Strovolos, Mr Andreas Papacharalambous and the General Director Mr. Michalis Antoniou addressed the participants of the seminar. During the seminar, various topics were presented including the Circular Cities examples and good practices, the Role of CSR in the sustainable development of local communities, the development of centres dedicated to green entrepreneurship within Municipalities and the strategic action plan for the implementation of circular economy and waste management practices in Nicosia.
