Taking into consideration that companies and organizations can play a vital role through their daily practices to the contribution to a more circular and sustainable economy, OEB implements the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) at the offices in Nicosia and has obtained verification of the management scheme and validation of its environmental report. Among others, our organization’s aim is to save energy, promote renewable energy sources and reduce waste production and recycling. At OEB we recycle everything that we can, from paper, PMD, batteries, lamps and electric/electronic waste. We also pay attention to the continuing education and awareness raising among staff members and visitors, in order to ensure their active participation and contribution to OEB’s environmental policy.
